We’re thrilled to celebrate the winners of the 2024 Sneads Ferry King Mackerel Tournament, who secured 1st Place with an outstanding 36.51 lb. king mackerel!
This year’s top crew brought both experience and camaraderie to the water, joined by their good friend John Molfetto—a familiar face from their earliest days of offshore fishing together. But perhaps the true MVP was John’s daughter, Arabella, whose sweet send-off the night before fishing turned out to be a game-changer. She told her dad she was giving him her “SPECIAL POWERS” for the day—and let’s just say, they worked!
To all teams who weighed in: well done. Landing a king this time of year takes grit, patience, and a little bit of luck. Your efforts and sportsmanship made this tournament weekend one to remember.
