The Rotary Club of Sneads Ferry has teamed up with One Place – a local non-profit that provides premium resources for child and adolescent care and education – and the North Carolina Community Foundation to commit to raising 1 million dollars for a One Place-based endowment by July 2025. The endowment will help train clinicians at One Place in pediatric mental health care in perpetuity. The commitment will be a tremendous benefit for One Place and will have a generational impact on the children of Onslow County. One Place, run by Dawn Rochelle (also a Rotarian) is the “go-to” center for child advocacy and treatment in southeastern NC.
